Everyone’s favourite furry friend Elmo gets a lesson in patience from everybody’s favourite Disney Alum, Zac Efron, as part of Sesame Street‘s 43rd season!
As Zac introduces the word of the day, “patience,” to the kids at home, his new pal Elmo is so excited to shoot hoops with the Hollywood star he interrupts the lesson, shouting: “Come on, come on let’s play, let’s play!” A light bulb goes off for Zac, he realizes this is the perfect opportunity for Elmo to show everyone how a little patience can go a long way. Although Elmo is eager to play basketball, there’s nothing he wants more than to help his friends at home.
Zac explains the word means to wait calmly, and Elmo demonstrates this to a T as he quietly listens and pauses until his friend is done talking. In the end, Elmo and Zac are thrilled they got to teach a lesson and play ball together.
