It’s the movie of the moment everyone is buzzing about, “What To Expect When You’re Expecting”, and we find out exactly what we can expect from the upcoming movie from the film’s stars themselves in the new issue of Redbook.
Dishing on everything “kids” inside the latest issue, Jennifer Lopez, Elizabeth Banks, Cameron Diaz, Brooklyn Decker and Anna Kendrick grace the mag’s cover in gorgeous spring hues.
The ladies appeared to have had quite a blast on the set of the photo shoot, taking their onscreen chemistry off-screen.
One of the two cover girl moms in real life, JLo, reveals to Redbook she had postpartum depression after giving birth to her twins, Max and Emme, now four-years-old: “I was like, ‘What is going on with me?’ I felt sad and depressed and thought the babies didn’t love me. I actually remember picking up the book [What to Expect When You're Expecting] to try to see what was happening to me and it said how you have this huge hormonal drop about seven to 10 days after you give birth. It’s called the ‘baby blues.’ But I just thought they didn’t like me!”
And fellow mother, Elizabeth Banks, tells the magazine how becoming a parent altered her life: “I think the thing you always hear-but can’t really feel or believe – is how this little baby really does change your life. When you have children, it’s the entire focus of your life, but my capacity for joy has been opened up in a way I never thought possible.”
Meanwhile, Cameron Diaz reveals why she no longer puts a time line on anything in her life. “I thought I was going to be married and have two children by the time I was 21,” she admits. “I think I felt I had to model my life after my mother’s. But then my career was starting to take off and there were still so many things I wanted to do. So that dream for me was shattered early on. After that I never put another time line on anything in my life.
