Taylor Swift nabs the cover of Cosmopolitan’s December issue and gives fans an inside scoop on what she needs in a relationship.
“I can’t deal with someone wanting to take a relationship backward or needing space or cheating on you,” Taylor tells Cosmo. “It’s a conscious thing; it’s a common-sense thing…I just don’t ever want to end up in a relationship that isn’t fair ever again.”
“I’ve had a lot of dark and twisty situations happen, enough to realize that when someone exhibits signs of evoking a dark and twisty relationship and dark and twisty feelings, it’s not interesting to me.”
And what about what Taylor needs in a relationship? “I need that unexplainable spark,” the country star says, “I just need to see someone and feel ‘Oh, no, uh-oh’.” Solidifying her belief in love at first sight, Taylor adds, “It’s only happened a few times in my life, but I feel like if I was gonna be with someone forever, it would be because I saw them and I thought, ‘Oh,no’.”
Taylor’s proud to say that she’s “learned when to get out” of a relationship adding, “I’ve never wasted too much time with the wrong person and that’s one thing I’m proud of.”
And something Taylor should be super proud of is her record breaking album sales. Her newest album might be called Red but it’s true colour is platinum. The country cutie sold 1.2 million copies in the first week, which marks the second time an album of hers has sold over a million copies in its first week.
Taylor tweeted her exciting news, ” They just told me Red sold 1.2 million albums first week. How is this real life?! You are UNREAL. I love you so much. Thanks a million
” The singer is now the only female artist to have two albums debut with such amazing sales. Boy-band NSync is the only other act to sell more than 1 million copies of an album in its debut week.
