Robert Pattinson was the perfect early bird guest on Good Morning America today. Ready to start his day with a box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch – a gift from the GMA team – Rob was not ready for the first question of his interview!
“Your performance in Cosmopolis is just gripping… it’s a fascinating performance and I want to get to it,” says George Stephanopoulos. “But I’ve gotta do this, I’ve gotta get the elephant in the room out of the way… everybody just wants to know, how are you doing?”
The GMA host tries to ease the tension by starting off complimenting Rob’s performance in Cosmopolis, but fails miserably when Rob decides to avoid the question all together. “I’d like my fans to know Cinnamon Toast only has 30 calories for instance,” says Rob. “I’ve never been interested in selling my personal life and that’s really the only reason people bring it up.”
With hundreds of fans lined up outside the studios, screaming for his attention, Rob finishes his interview with a smile and a chance to chat about his new film with Canadian-born Director David Cronenberg.
