The Palace released a statement on Thursday on Prince Philip’s health: “The Duke of Edinburgh is responding well to treatment. It is unclear when he will be discharged, but he is likely to remain in hospital for a few more days.”
The Queen’s husband was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary on Wednesday as a “precautionary measure” according to the Deputy Press Secretary to The Queen.
Prince Philip was in hospital for five days in June for a bladder infection, which seems to have returned. And in December he was admitted for a coronary stent procedure to clear a blocked artery.
