Prince Harry has a new video making the viral rounds today. The video shows the Prince praising the “inspirational people” who will carry the Paralympic torch to mark the arrival of the Paralympic Games next week, and is fully clothed.
Harry, who has been making headlines ever since naked photos were released of him partying hard in Las Vegas during a strip poker game, recorded the message back in May and says “Our Paralympic athletes are finalizing their preparations for the Games, getting ready to compete for gold on home soil. The Paralympic torch relay is the curtain-raiser to the Games and a celebration of the Paralympic values of courage, determination, inspiration and equality.”
A ceremonial cauldron was lit in London’s Trafalgar Square today to launch the torch relay, which will be followed by similar events in Belfast, Edinburgh and Cardiff.
Harry continues: “Teams of inspirational people will carry the flame on an historic overnight relay” referring to the 92-mile trek made by 580 torchbearers, working in teams of five, that will move the torch through Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and London.
“They include those who have collectively overcome adversity through teamwork,” he says. “Those who have overcome many challenges and continue to push themselves to the limit and those who inspire to do more than we think is possible.”
