Talk about an awkward moment! Pippa Middleton launches her new party-planning book Celebrate, by showing off her craft-making skills with children in London. While the kids loved the British socialite and her Halloween treats, they weren’t so fond of some of her royal pals – and they told her!
“I hate princesses!” Exclaimed one girl while the new author was helping the group make decorations. Good thing Pippa’s big sis Kate is actually a Duchess, because it would have been even more uncomfortable after the next response. “I was a tomboy,” said Pippa, “I bet when you are 10 you’ll love pink and you’ll love princesses,” she added, to which another girl replied, “I hate princesses!”
Of course Pippa handled the situation like a pro by laughing along with the kids and quickly changing the subject. If anyone knows a thing or two about social etiquette, after all, it’s this professional party girl who spent years under the wing of her parents who owned an event-planning business.
