Ratings for Oprah’s interview with Rihanna went through the roof, so is it any surprise Lady O is the top celebrity on Forbes‘ Latest List of Power Women?
German Chancellor Angela Merkel may have nabbed the number one spot and Hillary Clinton number two, but Oprah, who’s slowly turning her OWN network around, came in 11th place, ahead of Lady Gaga at number 14. But Mother Monster placed way ahead of her pop peers due to her work with the MAC AIDS Foundation and her massive earnings.
Beyonce is also one of the girls who “Run the World”, and she made the list at number 32, ahead of Jennifer Lopez at 38.
And more celebrity power women? Ellen DeGeneres number 47, Angelina Jolie number 66, Sofia Vergara number 75, J.K. Rowling number 78 and Gisele Bundchen number 83.
