Canadian rockers Nickelback dropped their new music video for their single “Trying not to Love You” and it features Seinfeld‘s Jason Alexander and Baywatch blonde, Brooke Burns.
The song is a mild pop ballad, in typical Nickelback fashion, but what really sells it is the amusing video that doesn’t feature the band at all.
Jason plays a geeky coffee shop employee who falls for Brooke’s character. He is then challenged for her love by a suave version of himself and the two go tet-a-tet on the espresso machines, making wild lattes to win her attention.
This isn’t the first time Jason’s been involved with a funny music video. A few years ago he appeared alongside William Shatner and Taylor Swift in Brad Paisley’s Online.
