Adam Levine and his band, Maroon 5 performed in front of a packed house at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre last night, but first, our entertainment reporter Natasha Gargiulo got to sit down with the singer to chat about his thoughts on a solo career, the new rivalry on “The Voice” and why he smells so nice.
In answer to whether or not the Maroon 5 lead singer would ever consider making a solo album, Adam says “If anything, I’ll probably make a record on my own with people doing some sort of interesting cover or record or something.” Adding, “but it won’t be me going solo, it will be me doing something on my own and then returning to the band. Maroon 5 will be around for a very long time.”
Even though Adam’s not planning a going out on his own anytime soon, he’s already branched out from the group, nabbing a red seat as one of the judges on “The Voice” for four seasons. This year however, the rivalry is heating up with veterans Adam and Blake Shelton going head-to-head with new judges Usher and Shakira!
Ever the confident one, Adam’s not worried about the shakeup saying, “Those fools are going down…I don’t care if they’re new or not, me and Blake got daggers for both of them!”
And that confidence translates over to Adam’s newest project, his brand new signature fragrance line eponymously called Adam Levine. The fragrance is exclusively sold at Shoppers Drug Mart here in Canada, and take it from Natasha, you’re gonna want to give it a whiff!
Tune in to ET Canada tonight at 7:30 pm ET/PT to catch Natasha’s full interview with Adam Levine!
