My Five-Day Date With The ‘RHOV’

So you think you have what it takes to date a rich, beautiful and glamorous woman? Well, having spent the last five days with the Real Housewives of Vancouver I have some sage advice for you! Save up and take your vitamins, because these are high energy babes with high-end taste.

My five-day date started with a trip to the dojo with the car collecting, adrenaline loving Reiko. This confident mom is the only tomboy I’ve ever met who rocks Vuitton and can cut you in half with a Samurai sword. Reiko moved like a dancer wielding a razor sharp sword as I clumsily tripped on my wooden stick.

Such an unbalanced relationship would never work, so I thought I’d try my luck with the free-spirited Christina. Wine in hand, this 6-foot stunner gave me a private tour of her brand new Yaletown digs and the worldly art collection she’s filling it with – all while (unsuccessfully) trying to hide the fact there was a sexy guy napping in her bedroom. This girl is going to get audiences talking!

Date three was at Vancouver’s RSA Academy for a recording session with the soft-spoken songstress Mary. This gal is looking to kick-start her music career, and she gave me a preview of the new track she hopes will do the trick. It’s sweet with a Faith Hill-esque quality, but I could never get used to life on the road.

So off to Ronnie’s family compound I go! This shoot date takes us through all four (yes four) of Ronnie’s West Vancouver oceanfront homes. And, I’m surprised to discover that behind the glamour is a dedicated wife and mother – who just happens to look like a Bo Derek/Elle MacPherson hybrid. Jerk.

The Glass House was my final date locale, and it was the perfect end to five days of Housewives. This West Van boutique is Jody’s life’s work and for serious shoppers only! Jody and I had a blast, and as you can see she was more than generous with her designer bling. And shouldn’t every date leave you dripping in diamonds?
