Crazy Love crooner Michael Buble is married to Argentine-born model Luisana Lopilato, but even for the beautiful couple marriage can be a lot of work.
The musician was candid with our Erin Cebula back in May, admitting surviving the first year of marriage “is the toughest… the first couple of years are the toughest.”
And now 18 months in, Michael is opening up to The Daily Mail about going to therapy: “Sometimes I can be impatient, and patience is important for me in my marriage. With my therapist, the big thing we talk about is how every marriage is hard. I have friends who say, ‘Oh, my marriage is easy…’ It’s not!”
Explaining that his therapist gives him the woman’s perspective on things, he says “I’ll sit with Lu and I can be empathetic. I can say, ‘I understand why this means something to you.’”
With the holidays around the corner, Michael tells Erin how he plans to spend the festive season. “Like most people, I probably like giving more than receiving and I know that sounds weird, but it’s true,” he admits. “I think more people feel comfy doing it. It feels better.”
