Lindsay Lohan is in trouble again after being arrested in NYC at 2:25 a.m. on Wednesday, on charges that she left the scene of an accident and for causing injury. As she left a nightclub in Manhattan, she allegedly clipped a pedestrian with her car and failed to stop, say police.
Officers say no alcohol was involved in the accident – that occurred when the 26-year-old drove a black Porsche slowly through an alley between the Dream Hotel and the Maritime Hotel – that will see Lindsay appear in court on October 23.
Her rep has released the following statement on the incident: “While some of the facts are still being gathered, it appears that this is much ado about nothing. We are confident this matter will be cleared up in the coming weeks and the claims being made against Lindsay will be proven untrue.”
Meanwhile, Lindsay’s lawyers have not responded to request for comment. The pedestrian called 911 and was treated in hospital for an apparent knee injury before being released.
