New details of Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel’s wedding have surfaced. The couple were wed at the Borgo Engazia in Puglia, Italy at the vast hotel complex surrounded by olive trees and cactus plants.
The fairy-tale like building is like an ancient fortress with whitewashed walls, and was decked out with white floral displays.
“It was magical,” Justin told People Magazine. “It was an unforgettable evening.”
After the couple said their “I Do’s” they were introduced in the hotel chapel at 7:30 pm, attendees like Jimmy Fallon, Andy Samberg and Timberland cheered loudly and showered the couple with small, white heart shaped flower pedals.
Jessica tells the magazine “it was a fantasy,” and was seen out and about on the hotel’s grounds wearing her ring later on in the weekend and then again with her new husband Justin at the Italian airport.
UPDATE: US Weekly is now reporting that The Roots’ drummer ?uestlove deejayed the bash, playing a bunch of Justin’s songs but no NSYNC and at one point the former front man became the wedding singer: “Justin performed one song at the wedding, ” a source revealed. “It’s a new one that he hasn’t released yet. He dedicated it to Jessica.”
And fashionista and stylist Bobbie Thomas is reporting that before heading to the reception, Jessica changed from her formal white and pink wedding gown designed by Giambattista Valli – who also provided attire for the bridesmaids and mothers – to something a little less traditional.
Friday’s event capped off a week’s worth of festivities for the couple who reportedly first fell in love with the Mediterranean country while attending Jessica’s 7th Heaven costar and close pal Beverly Mitchell who was in attendance this weekend. The couple hosted a party on Thursday for their guests which included open fires, fresh made cheese, and local olives and wine. The night before that the group headed to a beach for a party complete with fireworks and live music.

“It’s great to be married, the ceremony was beautiful and it was so special to be surrounded by our family and friends,” the couple told PEOPLE in an exclusive statement.
The “Sexy Back” singer and Total Recall actress have been dating on and off since 2007. They announced their engagement at the beginning of 2012 and have carefully shielded the details of their nuptials from the public.
Jessica, who has always been guarded about her relationship with Justin, opened up about getting married in May to French magazine Gala. “I don’t think our marriage will change anything,” she told the magazine. “It will be a challenge finding balance between my private life, family and work, and I’m ready.”
And Justin, who’s kept hush-hush about his bride-to-be, opened up to the Hollywood Foreign Press at a press conference for his new film Trouble With the Curve, saying Jessica’s a “really, really, really special person …plus she’s really, really hot!”
“We have a couple of rules in our relationship. The first rule is that I make her feel like she’s getting everything,” he continued. “The second rule is that I actually do let her have her way in everything. And, so far, it’s working.”
