With every season comes new additions to your wardrobe and who better to get some style inspiration from than Hollywood’s “It” girls?
Michelle Williams, Kristen Stewart and Blake Lively top LouLou Magazine editor in chief Julia Cyboran’s list of steal-worthy style and we sat down with her to find out how you can add it to your wardrobe this fall.
My Week With Marilyn star, Michelle, channels the swinging ’60s best for Julia, who says the trend is “all about the prints… the large geometric prints, the colours.” She says to steal Michelle’s style, go for a shift dress in a bold print: “It’s a really simple shape, it can come with sleeves or without… straight on the top and straight down the sides.” And Julia adds that the hottest way to wear the look this season is with “wild prints.”
Topping Julia’s style go-to list is Twilight actress, Kristen: “She’s really picked up her style game. She’s really rocking that baroque, embellishment trend.” So, how do you ‘glamp’ it up like KStew? “Use a lot of black and gold,” and “look for transparency, chiffon, maxi dresses… it’s definitely the way to go to embrace that mysterious… almost vampire-esque look.”
Meanwhile, LouLou‘s October cover girl Blake Lively rounds out Julia’s top three fall styles that everyone needs to try. “She has got style!” says Julia of the recently married star, adding “[look for] tailored pants and a nice fitted shirt” to get on board with this masculine trend.
