Gwen Stefani and husband Gavin Rossdale haven’t shared the stage in more than a decade. Although they met and fell in love in 1995 when No Doubt opened for Gavin’s band Bush, they’ve deliberately kept their musical careers separate. So fans at KROQ’s 2012 Almost Acoustic Christmas were pleasantly surprised when superstar Gwen joined her hubby on stage for an impromptu duet of his band’s hit “Glycerine” at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California.
Despite recent break-up rumours, the couple who just celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary, put on the PDA by sharing a kiss in the spotlight.
In a throwback to their grunge days, they both injected a little ’90s into their wardrobe. Gwen rocked plaid pants and a mesh see-through top that flaunted her ageless abs, while Gavin paired a leather choker with a sleeveless tee that showed off his pumped pipes.
The 43-year-old “Settle Down” singer thrilled the crowed when she appeared onstage for the song’s second verse, while her equally youthful 47-year-old husband played hard on his guitar. Watch one of music’s fittest couples sing together in the video below.
