The cold winds are rising and kings come to a penultimate clash in the highly anticipated sophomore season of HBO’s ‘Game of Thrones.’ HBO released a teaser video of season two, ahead of its April 1 premiere date.
The most explicit trailer to date is narrated by the eunuch Varys, to a backdrop of the most important characters being faced with daggers, crossbows and dragons. As fan favourite and Golden Globe winner Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister) tells Varys, he “understands the way this game is played.” And Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) declares she will win back what is hers…with fire and blood.
