“Mad Men” beauty Christina Hendricks is clearly not impressed when an Australian reporter calls her “full figured” during an interview as she’s promoting the TV series Down Under.
Christina blasts Sydney’s Sun-Herald Kate Waterhouse when she asks: “You have been an inspiration as a full-figured woman. What is the most inspiring story that you can remember where you’ve inspired someone?”
The actress looks quite disappointed with the line of questioning, signalling to her publicist as she replies shaking her head. “I don’t know… I’m sorry,” says Christina. The reporter tries re-phrasing the question, saying, “you’ve been known as inspiration for women as being a full-figure…” But this time the actress interrupts: “I mean, you just said it again!”
Off camera, reports say Christina replies: “I think calling me full figured is just rude!”
