Chris Brown is playing with fire…again. The R&B singer tested positive for marijuana on June 18 in Virginia but, because the judge never ordered Chris to undergo mandatory drug testing as a part of his probation process, he was let off with a stern warning.
Chris was in court for a progress report on his probation which stems from the assault of Rihanna. According to official probation report documents, he failed a drug test while he was fulfilling court ordered community service.
The report also mentions that Chris told his probation officer that he had smoked in California – where he has a medical marijuana prescription – but then failed the test in Virginia, where it is illegal, prescription or not.
Judge Patricia Schnegg who never ordered Chris undertake mandatory drug testing, cut the singer some slack by letting him go while making it clear he is to “obey all laws” for the remainder of his probation. The judge also ordered that his case be moved back to California as that is where Chris resides.
Despite their troubled history, Rihanna continues to support her former abuser tweeting “Praying for your baby, my best wishes are with you today! Remember that whatever God does in our lives, it is WELL DOWN!!! #1Love”
