Canadian overnight sensation, Carly Rae Jepsen, joins ET Canada tonight to talk about her whirlwind summer and what she hopes will be a fab fall.
“This whole year has sort of felt like a dream actually,” she admits of her new-found fame. “I can remember wanting this my whole life and looking back at it… it feels like six years, not just one.”
The Call Me Maybe songstress has just released her new album, KISS, and there’s really no “maybe” about it – we’re pretty sure it will be a huge hit! And Carly has something else to celebrate, she is close to releasing the music video for her new song, This Kiss, Tweeting on Thursday: “Last scene of the video shoot for This Kiss…. then it’s party time!”
But it doesn’t look like things will be slowing down for Carly anytime soon, since she’ll be joining Justin Bieber on tour starting September 29 through the end of January 2013. “I’m so looking forward to that tour,” she explains. “KISS is an album I’ve been working on for a while and to be able to play those songs live, is probably the most exciting thing to date.”
