Britney’s back with a new style sense. ELLE’s October cover girl may be one of the biggest pop sensations ever to grace the planet, but you would never guess it from her relaxed tomboy style. ”It’s really hard for me to be like Kim Kardashian,” she tells the magazine. “And be makeup-and hair-ready every time I go out of my house. I’m not a believer in that, you know?”
On the other hand, while she loves her jeans and sweats, Brit also has fears letting herself go completely: “When you do wear those sweats, you’re like, ‘Oh God, I should step it up a notch.’”
Speaking of stepping up, Britney is all about making the first move, and fiancé Jason Trawick opens up about the time she made her first play for him. “”It was kind of one of those things where she moved, like, turned around, so we were face-to-face, and then, Britney’s response? ‘Okay, that’s enough information, sweetie. It was sweet, just say that.’”
With her new gig as an X Factor judge, Britney’s ready to be front and centre again, and could care less about negative press: “I guess I’ve been under the microscope so long that I don’t even pay attention to the nonsense anymore. I gave up getting upset about things people make up about me a long time ago.”
