Her hair, her style, her husband! The new Mrs. Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, channels a bit of her friend Florence Welch in her spread for Allure‘s October issue. In it, the actress talks about wanting kids, love scenes and being in a peaceful happy place.
Photographed by Carter Smith who was influenced by a Bridget Bardot shoot from the past for the cover shoot, Blake let’s her inner ethereal goddess shine through posing in whimsical dresses in a field of flowers.
With her long running show Gossip Girl coming to an end after this season, Blake is looking forward to having some time to travel (and enjoy married life!) “I’ve worked on a lot of characters in the past five years, but I haven’t had time to work on my own character. That’s something that I’m really excited to do.” Adding, “I’m so peaceful, I’ve never been happier in my life.”
Although Blake doesn’t open up about her then boyfriend Ryan Reynolds with the magazine, she wasn’t shy about revealing some of her secrets, saying, “I’ve always wanted a big family.” ‘How big?’ “Oh, I’d have 30 [kids] if I could!”
In case you don’t already think Lively’s one lucky lady, her list of leading men will have you green with envy. The blonde bombshell starred with Taylor Kitsch in Savages and says, “Our first day [was filming] the sex scenes. I was in a full-length skirt, a full top, and he was the one with his tush sticking out. But that was kind of empowering.” And as for her The Town co-star Ben Affleck: “As somebody who knows Ben and Jennifer [Garner], they cannot be more sacred with their family and their home life.”
