“I knew I was falling for her. It was incredibly powerful and something I’ll never forget,” Chad tells HELLO! Canada. And Avril reveals: “He makes me laugh every day. He takes care of me in every way and is extremely attentive.”
The Canadian lovebirds are set to tie the knot after dating for six months and Hello! Canada has the first picture of Avril’s stunning engagement ring on the cover of this week’s issue!

Avril herself Tweeted a photo of Chad, 37, back in April, joking: “Did @Nickelback just raid my fridge? What the hell is this? I need to stop drinking. Seriously.”
A love connection was made over the past several months while the rock duo worked together. “A romantic relationship blossomed as they spent time writing together,” one of Avril’s friends confirms to the magazine.
Meanwhile, back on February 28, the songstress Tweeted a photo of them hanging out: “Bro’ing out with Chad Kroeger in the studio.”
